In the background is the evening sky, with colors shading from magenta at the top of the oblong to red and to yellow at the base of the Island and above the Bay water. The silhouette also includes a beacon of white light from the Lighthouse pointing and shading towards the right of the oblong. Below the Island is the word ALCATRAZ in light yellow against the black Bay waters, and two wavy lines in gray are located below the word ALCATRAZ. The word CRUISES is located in an elliptical baton which partially intersects with and is located below the lower cuve of the oblong; the word CRUISES is in white against a black background within the elliptical baton, which is bordered in white.
