The certification mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies that the business or organization has undergone a thorough business review by the "American Mountain Guides Association", that the business or organization is appropriately insured, follows appropriate operating guidelines, and enforces appropriate employment and business practices, and that employees and volunteers of the business or organization are properly trained, hold required accreditations and certifications, and obtain appropriate permits for guided expeditions.
