The mark consists of a stylized drawing depicting a mountain range with the highest peak at the center-top of the image. The mountains have stretches of light shading intended to show snow rising to the peaks. Below the mountains and in the left foreground stand evergreen trees. Below the mountains a lake surface reflects the top half of the image. Imposed over the center of the image is a depiction of large trumpeter swan with its neck and wings bent forward. In an arc over the mountains is the literal element "SNAKE RIVER" in capital serif lettering. The literal element "PALE ALE" is imposed over the lower portion of the image with shadow to the right of each letter starting with larger capital, serif letters at left, smaller letters to the center and rising letters to the right.
