The certification mark, as used by the persons and companies authorized by the certifier, certifies that the services provided have met certifier's requirements, namely that the authorized person or company provides an integrated pest management service; that the authorized person or company requires employees to submit a comprehensive employment application; that the authorized person or company interviews all prospective employees face-to-face before hiring; that the authorized person or company reviews the employment history of prospective employees; that the authorized person or company reviews the motor vehicle history of prospective employees; that the authorized person or company implements a written drug-free workplace policy; that the authorized person or company maintains liability insurance; that the authorized person or company ensures that the vehicles used to provide its services are clean and are in compliance with state law; that the authorized person or company adopts and enforces a written policy of professional dress; that the authorized person or company adopts and enforces written job-related safety policies; that the authorized person or company stores and disposes of its equipment and supplies in a safe, legal manner; that the authorized person or company does not engage in false or misleading advertising; that the authorized person, when providing a termite warranty or service contract, must state the contract's scope on its first page, must state that the policy is transferable to the new owner of the policy, and must state the policy's effective date and expiration date; that the authorized person or company must perform in accordance with its service warranties and agreements and, if inspection is required, must adopt a policy that outlines the procedures for contacting the customer; and that the authorized person's or authorized company's employees meet state examination requirements or, if no state examination requirements, then the authorized person's or authorized company's employees pass certifier's examination.
