The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify that the services are provided by journeymen who have completed an examination designed to test their working knowledge of pipes and pipefitting and related topics through having completed a union apprenticeship or equivalent program, a course of instruction in the field of pipefitting or having worked in the industry for at least five years.
