The mark consists of a circle with a tan border and a blue center. The words Liquor Distribution of America in blue letters around the tan border. A circle of white stars around the perimeter of the blue center. Within the circle of white stars is the image of an eagle with its wings spread and its legs out to each side. The Eagle is brown with a white tail, white head, yellow talons and yellow beak. On the chest of the eagle is a shield with blue across the top and red and white vertical strips on the lower section. Behind the eagle head and between its outstretched wings are yellow rays of light. Horizontally across the yellow rays of light are nine yellow stars. Horizantally above the yellow stars are the letters LDA in white. The eagle is clasping barley and hops with its talons. In the eagle's beak is a white banner which stretches horizantally above the eagle's head and bears the words Imbibo Per Tutela in blue letters. Below the circle described above are the capital letters LDA in blue.
