The certification mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies that these persons, who are performing these services, have demonstrated satisfactory technical knowledge to apply the skills necessary in such field in accordance with requirements established by the certifier, including; the completion of the necessary educational and/or occupational requirements; submittal of the required credentials for review and acceptance by the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists exam committee; and, passing a three (3) hour, 150 question written examination.
