The certification mark as used by authorized persons, certifies that such have met the certifier's requirements for practice in the medical physician assistant field, and that as such, each of such persons (1) has successfully passed an examination prepared and reviewed by certifier and (2) has graduated from an accredited physician assistant education program. When the certification mark is also used for recertification of persons authorized to use the mark, then such persons must meet the additional certifier's requirement of (1) completion every two years of 100 hours of continuing medical education and (2) successful completion of a recertification examination prepared and reviewed by certifier every ten years.
