The mark consist in part of a flag design which contains a small design of the U.S.A. and Africa intersecting superimposed with a second flag design which contains the wording AFMERICA which is located in the box with forty-nine stars in the upper left corner of the flag. Furthermore the flag itself has a gold border. Encompassed in the border is a predominately black background consisting of three red stripes and the continent of "Africa" intersecting superimposed over the three read stripes and black background in the right hand section of the flag. Superimposed in the continent of Africa is a gold comets tail with a black star at the apex of the comet.
